With the recent NAR settlement, home sellers are no longer required to pay the buyers agent commissions. This is a sigh of relief for many sellers. Now, home buyers are forced to pay their agent commission or negotiate it within the contract. No matter how the commission is structured, home buyers still pay. It either comes out of their down payment or is added onto their mortgage in the end.

As former REALTORS ourselves, we know the process behind buying a home can be greatly simplified. Most agents hand the transaction off to a "Transaction Coordinator" who does all the paperwork anyway. The agents typically manage a few client issues, but the transaction coordinator does all the work with title, inspections, etc to ensure the transaction goes smoothly for the home buyer.
